The Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They managed a 57-52 victory over Sto-Rox. The win was just what Our Lady of the Sacred Heart needed coming off of a 64-28 loss in their prior contest.
Sto-Rox lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Robert Sykes Jr, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for him. Aumir Nelson was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Sto-Rox, they bumped their record down to 3-7 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart will face off against Steel Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Steel Valley comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Sto-Rox will be staying on the road on January 12th to face off against South Park at 7:15 p.m. on January 12th.
