North Woods had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 80-46 stomp they got against the Nashwauk-Keewatin Spartans. The grizzlies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 24 points or more this season.

North Woods' victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Nashwauk-Keewatin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

North Woods wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 75-43 win against South Ridge on the 28th. Nashwauk-Keewatin has also already played their next contest, a 63-55 victory against Chisholm on the 28th.
