Bradford is 0-10 against Elk County Catholic since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bradford Owls will head out on the road to take on the Elk County Catholic Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. Bradford will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 364th, while Elk County Catholic is ranked 72nd).
Last Friday, Bradford was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 48-44 to Brookville. Bradford has not had much luck with Brookville recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Meanwhile, Elk County Catholic can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. Everything went their way against St. Marys as Elk County Catholic made off with a 61-40 victory.
Bradford has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Elk County Catholic, they pushed their record up to 20-1 with that victory, which was their tenth straight on the road.
Bradford ended up a good deal behind Elk County Catholic when the teams last played back in January, losing 52-38. Can Bradford avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
