Despite the loss, Aldine still got an impressive performance from Aniyah Bevly, who scored 16 points. Bevly scored a full 53.3% of Aldine's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Aldine has yet to win a match at home this season, leaving them with a 1-16 record. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.6 points per game. As for Fort Bend Willowridge, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.
Aldine will face off against Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eisenhower and Aldine are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
