Severance was the  59-58 winner over Pueblo South when they last played one another  back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Rank  went 6 for 12  on his way to 12  points in addition to eight  assists and four  steals, while  Wright  almost  dropped  a double-double on 17 points and nine  boards. Wright has been hot recently, having  posted nine or more  boards the last three times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jordan Rodriguez, who  posted four  points and three  steals.
 Even though they lost, Severance  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with ten  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least ten  offensive rebounds in three consecutive  games.
 Pueblo South found their leader in freshman  J'Rell Williams, who  put up 12 points.  Christian Vigil was another key player,  putting up ten  points.
Severance's loss  ended  a  seven-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 3-2. As for Pueblo South, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Severance wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  61-26  win against Village on the 14th. As for Pueblo South, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  64-54  defeat against Riverdale Ridge on the 14th.
