Geneva picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Michael Rumoro. Wheaton North had no answer to Rumoro as he rushed for 92 yards and two touchdowns.
Geneva's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Rumoro and Geneva will square off against St. Charles East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Geneva Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Talyn Taylor
Geneva picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Talyn Taylor. Nobody could stop Taylor as he picked up 157 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 58 yards.
On the season, Taylor has caught 14 touchdowns while averaging 112.1 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 5.71 receiving yards per game.
