The Braymer Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Green City 77-47. While losing is never fun, Braymer can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 306th, while Green City is ranked 60th).
Jaryn Hatcher continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Green City, scoring 31 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The game was Hatcher's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Macy Jeffries, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.
Braymer's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Green City, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.
Braymer will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Orrick at 6:00 p.m. on January 11th. As for Green City, they will face off against North Missouri HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
