The Addison Bulldogs lost against the Oakman Wildcats back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Addison took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oakman. Addison has not had much luck with Oakman recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Leading Oakman to victory were Trenton Warren and Rick Johnson. Warren scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks, while Johnson scored 24 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Johnson has scored at least a third of Oakman's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Carson, who scored five points along with seven assists.
Addison's loss dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Oakman, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.
Addison will be playing at home against Winston County at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oakman, they will head out on the road to square off against Meek at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Meek has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Oakman will arrive with three straight wins.
