Independence hadn't done well against Frisco recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Independence Knights put the hurt on the Frisco Raccoons with a sharp 61-38 victory. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 23 points or more this season.

The win got Independence back to even at 15-15. As for Frisco, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-21 record this season.

Independence will be playing in front of their home fans against Lebanon Trail at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frisco, they are taking a road trip to take on Liberty at 7:15 p.m. on February 7th.
