That result was just more of the same for these two, as East also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Kelly Walsh's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lillian Hudson, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds. Hudson scored a full 39.5% of Kelly Walsh's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Hailey Larson was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five rebounds.
East's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2. As for Kelly Walsh, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
East will head out on the road to face off against Rock River at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kelly Walsh and Sheridan will face off at 3:30 p.m. on January 11th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Sheridan will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
