In what's become a running theme this season, the Lincoln Lynx gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 67-47 margin over Bishop Heelan Catholic. The score was close at the half, but Lincoln pulled away in the second half with 38 points.
Lincoln was led to victory by Cole Arnold and Etienne Higgins. Arnold scored 21 points along with two steals, while Higgins scored 20 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Sandbothe, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Bishop Heelan Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season.
Both teams will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Bishop Heelan Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against the Lynx at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Lincoln focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Saturday.
