C District 1 (8 Man) recap Oct. 23, 2012
Forgan extended the longest winning streak in C District 1 (8 Man) this week by beating Buffalo, 58-12. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Shattuck took down Goodwell/Yarbrough 50-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Sharon-Mutual's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Cooper Free has thrown for 1126 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Cody Campbell has 41 catches for 737 yards. Free also leads the league in rushing with 849 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Forgan and Balko. Billy Nichols' team enters the game ranked second in the state, while the Bison ranks 17th.
The Bulldogs led C District 1 (8 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 58 points on the Bison. Dalton Lemieux threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 82 yards in the win.
