Valor Preparatory Academy has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Tribe W Warriors at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Valor Preparatory Academy's defense has only allowed 22.9 points per game this season, so Tribe W's offense will have their work cut out for them.
Last Friday, Valor Preparatory Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Varsity Opponent, taking the game 44-32.
Meanwhile, Tribe W's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by Lifegate Christian 57-26. Tribe W has not had much luck with Lifegate Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Valor Preparatory Academy pushed their record up to 11-6 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points per game. As for Tribe W, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
