The Carl Junction Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 71-58 to Branson. Carl Junction was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Branson apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Carl Junction lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cooper Vediz, who scored 14 points along with seven assists and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Deacon Endicott, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Carl Junction's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Branson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.
Carl Junction will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Neosho at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th. Carl Junction is facing Neosho at the right time seeing as Neosho is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Branson, they will be playing at home against Carthage at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Carthagepresents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Branson in Missouri (Carthage is ranked 63rd, while Branson is ranked 200th).
