California came into Friday's   game looking for another win against Hallsville, but  Landon Cunningham wouldn't allow it. The Indians put the hurt on the Pintos with a sharp  47-22 win on Friday thanks in part to  Cunningham, who rushed for 85 yards and three  scores, and also threw for 354 yards and three  TDs while completing 78.9% of his passes. Hallsville is 2-1 when  Cunningham posts two or  more  rushing touchdowns, but 1-5 otherwise.
 Another player making a difference was  Abraham Rhoades, who picked up 167 receiving yards and a pair of  touchdowns. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 77 yards.
The  victory snapped Hallsville's losing streak at three games  and leaves them with a 3-6 record. As for California, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
