CJ Self made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, Cooper Binagia was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Brady Vonfeldt, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
