Kanton Turley Turns in Season-Best Effort
Snowflake was led to victory by Kanton Turley, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Turley rushed for 106 yards and three touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making a tackle.
The victory for Snowflake keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Turley and Snowflake are on the road again on Friday to play Marcos de Niza at 7:00 p.m.

A Season-Best Effort from Mason Lloyd Leads Poston Butte over Snowflake
Poston Butte came up short on Friday despite Mason Lloyd delivering his best game to date. Lloyd threw for 168 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 37 yards and a touchdown.
Lloyd is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Apache Junction on Friday. Lloyd rushed for 178 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries the last time he and the Prospectors duked it out back in October of 2023.

Evan Moore Goes Supernova in Poston Butte Defeat
The second Poston Butte player making an appearance here is Evan Moore, and for good reason. He picked up 53 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 43 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Moore might just drop another big game when he faces off against Apache Junction on Friday. When Moore last faced the Prospectors back in October of 2023, he rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
