The South Cobb Eagles are on the road again  on Thursday to play the Hillgrove Hawks at 5:00  p.m.
 On Wednesday, South Cobb didn't have quite enough to beat Westlake and fell  13-12.
  Kayleigh Sutton stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she fired off two  home runs and five  RBI while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jada Emenalo, who  scored three  runs and  stole five bases while going 3-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Hillgrove waltzed into their matchup  on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  2-1  victory over the Spartans.
 South Cobb has  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last nine contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record  this season. As for Hillgrove, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record  this season.
 South Cobb suffered a grim  16-0 defeat to Hillgrove  in their previous matchup  back in August. Can South Cobb avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
