Grace Jervis was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Aalisha Jackson, who scored eight points.
Mater Brighton Lakes Academy dropped their record down to 1-14 with that defeat, which was their 20th straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.4 points per game. As for Cornerstone Charter Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
