The Howland Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the West Branch Warriors at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
Howland had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell victim to a rough 7-1 loss at the hands of Boardman on Monday.
Howland saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa Massucci, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last match, West Branch made sure to put some runs up on the board against Girard on Thursday. West Branch put the hurt on Girard with a sharp 12-2 victory.
Howland was able to grind out a solid win over West Branch in their previous matchup back in April of 2023, winning 4-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Howland since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
