Rosamond won the last time they faced Boron and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Roadrunners put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp  3-0 victory.
 Rosamond was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11,  25-18.
 Kaitlyn Fortson paced Rosamond's offense, picking up six kills. Fortson got some help from  Kenia Sotelo Salgado and her eight assists.  Aliyah Finch and  Merilyn Campos kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.
 Despite the  loss, Boron saw an underclassman step up: freshman  Aaliyah Davis  had nine  assists and four  aces. Davis has been hot, having  posted two or more  aces the last five times she's  played.
Rosamond's win bumped their record up to 17-14-2. As for Boron, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-17-1 record  this season.
