MacArthur waltzed into their matchup  on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. Everything went their way against the Southwest Legacy Titans as they made off with  a  3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-0  back in September.
 While MacArthur won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  second set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 27-25,  25-14.
 MacArthur's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Elizabeth Martin, who  had nine  digs and two  aces. What's more,  Martin racked up 21  assists, the most she's  had since back in October of 2024.  Abigail Wells was another key player,  getting nine  digs and eight  kills.
 Despite the loss, Southwest Legacy still got an impressive performance from   Analise Campos, who  had 15  digs and one  assist.
MacArthur's victory bumped their record up to 23-11. As for Southwest Legacy, their loss was  their fifth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 18-13.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. MacArthur is set to  square off against  their familiar foe McCollum  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Southwest Legacy will  take on  rival Harlandale  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
