Lumberton has gone a perfect 10-0 against Ashley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Pirates will challenge the Screaming Eagle at 6:00 p.m. Lumberton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Not much got past Norah Johnson, who gave up just three hits to keep Richmond Senior off the board. Johnson has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Ava Hanna was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2025. Jaelyn Hammond was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.

West Brunswick hit Ashley with a four-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Screaming Eagle came up short against the Trojans, falling 7-1. The Screaming Eagle have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ashley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Skyler Horrell, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.
Lumberton's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Ashley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.
Ashley's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Lumberton hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .384. It's a different story for Ashley, though, as they've only averaged .193. Will they be able to contain Lumberton's hitters?
Everything went Lumberton's way against Ashley when the teams last played back in March, as Lumberton made off with an 8-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
