Rappahannock County lost against the Madison County Mountaineers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Rappahannock County took a 57-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Madison County. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Rappahannock County in their matchups with Madison County: they've now lost five in a row.
It was another big night for Seth McLearen, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds for Madison County. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Humphrey, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Rappahannock County's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Madison County, they pushed their record up to 15-7 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Rappahannock County will head out on the road to square off against Strasburg at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Strasburg will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Rappahannock County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Madison County, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. Madison County is facing Mountain View at the right time seeing as Mountain View is stuck on a 21-game losing streak.
