Millard North's pitcher stepped up to hand Papillion-LaVista  an   8-0 shutout  on Tuesday.
  Jadyn Pokorny made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive pitching appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Hayden Nelson and  Macey Jarose did most of the damage at the plate:  Nelson  scored a  run while going 2-for-3, while  Jarose  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-2. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. Hodoly was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Esthefany Contreras Suarez was  excellent,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run and three  RBI.
 Millard North's win was  their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 21-5. As for Omaha South, their record is now 10-8.
 Both  both  just can't seem to miss. Millard North has been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 9.2  hits per game. However, it's not like Omaha South struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  only 5.4. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
