Cyprus has gone a perfect 10-0 against Granger recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Cyprus will square off against Granger at 3:30 p.m. Cyprus will be strutting in after a win while Granger will be coming in after a loss.

Cyprus is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest victory since May 9, 2024 on Monday. They came out on top against Stansbury by a score of 5-4 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Easton Anderson and Reiner Hidalgo did most of the damage at the plate: Anderson scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Hidalgo scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Carter Primm also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Granger is still winless after their game against Stansbury on Friday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stallions. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Lancers have suffered since May 8, 2024.

Granger saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Pace, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave Pace a new career-high. Another was Isaac Hopkin, who scored a run and stole three bases.

Cyprus is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. Granger's loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Cyprus came out on top in a nail-biter against Granger when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 7-6. Will Cyprus repeat their success, or does Granger has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
