Chelmsford had to settle for second on Thursday, but Matthew Stuart sure wasn't going down easily. St. John had no answer to Stuart as he struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Stuart has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
