Riverdale Ridge and Legend squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Riverdale Ridge had to settle for second. They took a 59-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Legend Titans. The Ravens' defeat signaled the end of their 14-game winning streak.

Legend's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mason Borcherding, who went 7-for-8 en route to 17 points. What's more, Borcherding also posted an 88% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in February of 2024. Maley Wilhelm was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.

Riverdale Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 21-6. As for Legend, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

Riverdale Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Legend, they will face off against Grandview at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Grandview comes in on 18 and Legend on five.
