The Marysville Indians won the last time they faced the Center Cougars, and things went their way  on Friday too. Marysville came out on top against Center by a score of  54-46.
 Marysville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Dennis Syders, who  scored 16 points along with three  steals. Syders is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in the last four games he's  played.  Josiah Arrington was another key contributor,  scoring eight points along with six  rebounds and four  blocks.
 Center lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Terrill Reid, who  scored eight points along with seven  assists. Another player making a difference was  Victor Routh, who  scored 15 points along with seven  rebounds.
 Marysville has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Center,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 8-8.
 Marysville will head out on the road to  challenge  Colfax at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Center, they will look to defend their home court  on Wednesday against Sutter at 7:00  p.m. Sutter is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58.4  points per game.
