McDonald (Ohio) jumped out to an early lead against
Leetonia (Ohio) and never looked back on the way to a 42-13 victory on Saturday.
The Blue Devils scored eight points in the first quarter. McDonald scored on a kick return touchdown by
Joe Perry.
After taking the lead on a kick return touchdown by Perry in the first quarter, MHS was up 28-0 at the half.
The Blue Devils expanded their lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. McDonald scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Jake Reckard.
MHS came in allowing an average of 20.0 points per game this season.
The Blue Devils got revenge for last year's 10-0 loss to the Bears with the victory.
The loss was the fourth in a row for Leetonia.
McDonald (5-2) goes up against Lowellville in a Inter-Tri-County - Small game matchup next week, while Leetonia (2-5) locks horns with Jackson-Milton also in a Inter-Tri-County - Small game.
