The Achievement First Providence Falcons had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were outmatched by Mount St. Charles Academy on the road and fell 59-32. Achievement First Providence was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-11.
Achievement First Providence lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Fred Browne, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds. Joshia Dickson was another key contributor, scoring five points along with six rebounds.
Achievement First Providence's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Mount St. Charles Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Achievement First Providence will head out on the road to face off against Highlander Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mount St. Charles Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Ponaganset at 6:30 p.m.
