The LaCrosse Leopards''s game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They breezed by Ness City at home to the tune of 46-0. The result was nothing new for LaCrosse, who have now won four games by 26 points or more so far this season.
LaCrosse had a senior duo take command as Caden Morgan threw for 197 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes and Gage Burk gained 126 total yards and three touchdowns. Bradan Grumbein did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 81 receiving yards and a touchdown.
LaCrosse has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Ness City, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
LaCrosse will be playing at home against Sublette at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kansas (Sublette is ranked 39th, while LaCrosse is ranked 46th). Ness City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
