It's playoff time, and Stansbury had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Friday. The Stallions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Nolan Furgal tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Landon Palmer, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Cooper Clark, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Stansbury was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Stansbury has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Juan Diego Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-13.

Stansbury will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Soaring Eagle: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
