On Friday, The Grafton Clippers never let their opponents score. They claimed a resounding 45-0 win over York on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Grafton who now have three in a row.
Makale Barnett got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also picked up 46 receiving yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Bryant, who threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes.
Grafton's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for York, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Grafton will be playing at home against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Heritage is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. York does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
