The Bristow Pirates won the last time they faced the Cushing Tigers, and things went their way on Friday too. Bristow breezed by Cushing at home to the tune of 66-26. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bristow.
Bristow had a senior duo take command as Addi Alexander scored 24 points along with 3 steals and Shalyn Edmondson scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Edmondson has scored at least 25% of Bristow's points. Another player making a difference was Ava Yocham, who scored 8 points along with 4 steals.
Bristow's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Cushing, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bristow will stay at home for another game and welcome Berryhill at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th.
