The Treasure Coast Titans had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Osceola 28-0 at home. Winning may never get old, but Treasure Coast sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Treasure Coast got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was George Roberts out in front who rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 29 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Richard Kramer, who gained 32 total yards and two touchdowns.
Treasure Coast pushed their record up to 9-2 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 10-2 Seminole and 10-2 Jesuit (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 55.6% over those games). As for Osceola, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
Treasure Coast will look to defend their home field on Friday against Vero Beach at 7:00 p.m. Osceola does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
