Archbishop McCarthy barely beat West Boca Raton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mavericks blew past the Bulls 15-2 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Mavericks in their matchups with the Bulls: they've now won five in a row.

Sienna Garcia made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Archbishop McCarthy got a massive performance out of Lydia Springer, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs Springer has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Alexis Nightingale, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one double.

Archbishop McCarthy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .632. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Boca Raton only posted an OBP of .158.

Archbishop McCarthy pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for West Boca Raton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Coming up, Archbishop McCarthy will venture away from home to challenge Florida Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Mavericks 4, the Patriots 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for West Boca Raton, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Oxbridge Academy at 6:00 p.m. The ThunderWolves' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Bulls' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
