Brick Memorial barely beat Pinelands Regional the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs blew past the Wildcats 11-1 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Brick Memorial has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Pinelands Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brick Memorial will take on Liberty at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pinelands Regional, they will face off against Asbury Park at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bishops have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
