Center took down Warrensburg 35-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Yellowjackets led West Central in scoring this week after putting up 35 points on the Tigers.
O'Hara's dynamic duo of Michael Briggs and Brock Hughes proved tough for Smith-Cotton to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Briggs threw for 114 yards and one touchdown and Hughes had 51 yards receiving. Cardell Miller helped O'Hara's passing attack out by catching one ball for 50 yards.
Chris Sidfrid was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 149 yards on 33 carries as Clinton lost to the Tigers. Teammate Jason Abernathy added to the ground attack by rushing for 62 yards.
St. Pius X's Grant Gavin and Bennie Palmentere have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Gavin has thrown for 580 yards this season, while Palmentere, a 5-foot-7 receiver, has 10 catches for 162 yards. Sidfrid from the Cardinals leads the league in rushing with 1139 yards.
A big matchup in West Central this week will be when Smith-Cotton takes on Clinton. Mark Johnson's team is in third place, while Chris Smoot's team is in first place.
The Tigers made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,244 from 9,015. The improvement came about via a 17-12 victory over O'Hara last week.
