Florin is on a 13-game streak of home losses (dating back to last season), Valley a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Florin Panthers will take on the Valley Vikings at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Florin comes in on a streak of failing to score more than eight points in their last nine games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Florin fell victim to Johnson's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were beaten by the Warriors 47-0. Florin was already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Meanwhile, Valley also failed to score in their most recent game. They were outmatched by Foothill at home and fell 32-0.
Even if they lost, Valley's defensive line still kept up the pressure with 3.5 sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Zaryan (ziggy) hall.
The losses dropped Florin to 0-9 and Valley to 1-8.
Everything came up roses for Florin against Valley in their previous meeting back in September of 2022 as the team secured a 36-0 win. Does Florin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
