The Southeast Seminoles will head out on the road to face off against the Port Charlotte Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southeast will be strutting in after a victory while Port Charlotte will be coming in after a loss.
Southeast is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They came out on top against Cape Coral by a score of 3-1.
Southeast walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17, 16-25, 25-16.

Southeast got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mellise Bush out in front who had ten digs. Bush is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.
Southeast was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in seven consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Port Charlotte came up short against Lemon Bay on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
While Port Charlotte ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 19-25, 25-21.
Port Charlotte's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Southeast, they pushed their record up to 17-3 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
Southeast suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Port Charlotte in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Seminoles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
