The Jersey Shore Bulldogs will take on the South Williamsport Mountaineers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Jersey Shore knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully South Williamsport likes a good challenge.
On Saturday, Jersey Shore needed a bit of extra time to put away Wellsboro. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Hornets 10-9. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Hunter Enders made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-5.
In other pitching news, Nolen Pauling looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single hit any time he's pitched this season.

Back at the plate, Collin Berguson was incredible, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Landyn Rhea, who got on base in five of his six plate appearances with one RBI.
Jersey Shore hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wellsboro struck out 14 times.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 18 runs the game before, South Williamsport was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They came up short against Hughesville, falling 10-1.
Tadd Lusk was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Marc Molina, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.
Jersey Shore's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for South Williamsport, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
