The Case Cardinals came tearing into Thursday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They didn't even let Atlantis/Westport onto the board and left with a 26-0 victory.
Case can attribute much of their success to Nathan Wood, who rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.
Case's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB eight times. The heavy lifting was done by Ben Fortier and Jonathan Ryan who racked up four sacks between them.
Case's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Atlantis/Westport, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Case does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Atlantis/Westport also has no future games currently scheduled.
