Kemper County waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 42-34 win over Enterprise. Given Kemper County's advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 108th, while Enterprise is ranked 226th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Southeast Lauderdale scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 66-11 victory over Clarkdale. The win was a breath of fresh air for Southeast Lauderdale as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Kemper County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Southeast Lauderdale, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.
