The Hollins Royals posted their biggest victory since December 5, 2023 on Monday. They claimed a resounding 79-43 victory over Pinellas Park on the road. Hollins has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 31 points or more this season.
Hollins' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Malachi Miller led the charge by scoring 21 points along with six steals and five assists. Miller hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Josh Castallani, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and six steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Hollins and bumps their season record up to 12-8. As for Pinellas Park, their loss was their 15th straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-16.
Hollins won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Gibbs at 8:00 p.m. on January 23rd. One thing working in Gibbs' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven matches. As for Pinellas Park, they will head out on the road to challenge Osceola at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
