On Saturday Springfield take on Bellows Falls at 1:00 PM. Springfield aren't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them last game, maybe the squad has another upset up their sleeve.
Their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Springfield, but their most recent contest may have softened the blow. They captured a comfortable 34-14 victory over Mt. St. Joseph Academy.
Meanwhile, after a dominant win in their matchup, Bellows Falls were humbled last Saturday. They were given a punishing 7-48 loss at the hands of Burr & Burton. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Bellows Falls were outplayed the rest of the way.
Springfield's victory lifted them to 1-2 while Bellows Falls's defeat dropped them down to 2-1. We'll find out if Springfield can add another positive mark to their record or if Bellows Falls can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Springfield's step.
