Hope added to the longest winning streak in Wheat State (8 Man) this week by beating Goessel, 38-6. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Lions.
Hope was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from third to first in the league. Jeff Hostetter's team vanquished the Bluebirds 38-6 earlier in the week.
Solomon's dynamic duo of Colton Shirack and Blake Homman proved tough for Pretty Prairie to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Shirack threw for 143 yards and 3 touchdowns and Homman had 120 yards receiving. Mark Aylward helped Solomon's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 23 yards.
He went 4-9 with 1 interception.
Dylan Murphy made the biggest impact on defense this week as Wakefield defeated Lakeside. He forced 1 fumble and recorded 1 fumble.
White City's Sam Morgan and John Settgast led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Morgan has thrown for 1,133 yards this season, while Settgast has 33 catches for 584 yards. Mason Demars from the Gorillas leads the league in rushing with 1,294 yards.
Aylward has rushed for 929 yards on 138 carries so far this year.
The Bombers took down Lakeside 54-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Keenan Westerman ran for 151 yards during the win.
