It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Cary-Grove ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They blew past the Jacobs Golden Eagles 10-4. Considering the Trojans have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Kaden Norman looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
On the hitting side, Jacob Duvall was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Peyton Seaburg was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
