Meadow Bridge have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Valley at 7:30 PM. Both of those teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Meadow Bridge's and Fayetteville's matchup two weeks ago was up for grabs at halftime, but Meadow Bridge were thoroughly outmatched in the second half. Meadow Bridge ended up on the wrong side of a painful 16-38 walloping at Fayetteville's hands. Meadow Bridge's defeat came about despite a quality game from senior Caleb Richmond, who rushed for 192 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Valley have to be hurting after a devastating 8-41 loss at the hands of Midland Trail last Friday.
