Reece Whitman Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Scranton's Reece Whitman, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Whitman rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 56 yards.
Scranton's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. They and North Pocono are set to duel on Friday.

The second Scranton player making an appearance here is Memphis Shotto, and for good reason. He picked up 133 receiving yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 74 yards.
This season, Shotto has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 40.7 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 14.71 receiving yards per game.
